Benefits
Insurance Information
- The Benefits Self Enrollment Guide will provide you with instructions on how to complete your enrollment through the BeneBridge website.
- The Benefits at a Glance is summary of your USD 383 Benefits with rates and embedded links to additional resources.
- After enrollment is closed, please contact Kirsten Martin if you need to alter, add, or change any benefits.
- Benefit Eligibility
- 17.5 – 29 hours per week qualifies as part-time benefit eligible (Dental, Vision, Auxiliary products)
- 30 hours per week qualifies as full-time benefit eligible (Health, Dental, Vision, Auxiliary products)
- This year USD 383 has elected to add a feature called Evergreen. Evergreen allows for those individuals who do not re-enroll (online or in-person) in a health plan by August 4th to have their enrollment rollover from the previous year.
- For example, if you have previously chosen to not enroll in district insurance, Evergreen would continue this selection on your behalf should you choose not to re-enroll online or in-person.
- Those with current Flex Savings Health Plans, HSA accounts, and Dependent Childcare Reimbursement with the intent to continue, will still need to re-enroll in these specific plans as Evergreen will not re-enroll in these programs without authorized user consent.
- Individuals who have previously elected one of these three plans will be receiving separate correspondence from our department to serve as an extra reminder to be sure to re-enroll in this option should they want to continue.
New Employees
As part of our onboarding process, all new employees will go through a 45-day introductory period. This period allows both you and the district to ensure a good fit, with ample time to learn about your role and responsibilities. At the conclusion of this period, your supervisor will conduct an evaluation to recommend your transition to continued employment.
During the introductory period, enrolled benefits will begin the first of the month following the 45-day period. Your leave will begin to accrue upon hire; however, cannot be utilized until after the introductory period ends and you are recommended for continued employment.
