The Manhattan-Ogden USD383 Board of Education is a policy making committee of elected officials who serve the district and community. There are seven members who are elected at-large for four-year staggered terms. All registered voters within the boundary of the USD #383 school district are eligible to vote for the board of education candidates.
Board members guide and approve policies, decide how to allocate the budget, make employment decisions regarding the superintendent and all other employees, and approve the curriculum and programs of the district.
Board meetings are generally held at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month at the Robinson Education Center, located at 2031 Poyntz Avenue. All regular meetings are open to the public and can be viewed live from the district’s Facebook page. Recordings of past meetings are also available through the Agenda and Minutes link.
Our board and every member of our district team is guided by the Strategic Plan, which was adopted in August of 2019. Our board members value community input and welcome communication.
President, Manhattan-Ogden USD 383 Board of Education
