USD 383 DISTRICT PROFESSIONAL LEARNING GOALS – 2017-2020
The percentage of students who score in Levels 3 and 4 on the English Language Arts State Assessment will increase from 47.08% (2017-2018) to 58.58% (2022-2023). (2.3% annually grades 3-8 & 10)
The percentage of students who score in Levels 3 and 4 on the Mathematics State Assessment will increase from 41.82% (2017-2018) to 51.82% (2022-2023). (2.0 percent annually grades 3-8 & 10).
USD 383 students will learn, practice and model essential personal life habits that contribute to academic, vocational, and personal success.
RELEVANCE (Personalized Learning)
By 2020, USD 383 educators will have established a system for evaluating the effectiveness of MTSS and Individual Plans of Study in order to address and respond to the learning needs of all students.
RESPONSIVE CULTURE (Academic Engagement)
By 2020, USD 383 educators will demonstrate evidence-based correlations between academic engagement and the climate and culture of the district to implement differentiated learning strategies and show the relationships among the Kansas College and Career Ready Standards, state and local assessments, district curriculum, social-emotional character development, and 21st Century Learning Skills.
