December 2, 2019 Immunization Exclusion Date
According to the law of the state of Kansas, students must be up to date on immunizations and provide proof of immunizations in order to avoid exclusion from school, unless they have religious beliefs that prevent them from getting immunizations or have a doctor’s note that states student doesn’t need immunizations for medical reasons.
The USD 383 Board of Education and Superintendent have set an exclusion date of December 2, 2019. Please provide documentation of your child’s immunizations or the date of a doctor’s app
The Riley County Health Department is offering a walk-in clinic on November 25th-27th from 8 a.m.-4:15 p.m. each day to assist in getting missing immunizations completed prior to the exclusion date. No appointment necessary. If you do call and schedule an appointment ahead of time, you can avoid longs line and receive an incentive for scheduling.ointment to get immunizations completed by Dec. 2 or your child will be excluded from school until records or an appointment date are provided.
