The Manhattan community has made a huge commitment to education and future generations. Manhattan will be growing! The addition of the new NBAF facility and the increase in military personel at Fort Riley will require significant improvements in the Manhattan area, especially in educational facilities. The bond issue will provide funding for additional classrooms and better security as well as updated student facilities at both the West and East campus. This is a very impressive step in a time of national economic hardship. Thank you to all who were involved in making education a priority in the district!
