Excellence Rocks!
Creating the Sounds of Success

Welcome to the 2018-19 year!

Dr. Cleion MortonIt is hard to believe that I am beginning my 5th year at Northview.  It is has been an exciting journey to watch the changes and growth that have occurred.   This year we will again add some new faces to our staff. The addition of new people with different experiences and backgrounds helps us to continue to meet the diverse needs of our students and their families.   We are also blessed to have a wide range of veteran staff who call Northview home and continue to bring energy, stability, and commitment to our neighborhood school.  At Northview we focus on creating a culture of community with the priority on student learning. With MTSS (Multi-Tier System of Supports), we adhere to our curriculum with fidelity as well as provide intentional support for students who need review or enrichment.  Our weekly class meetings will help attend to the social emotional needs of our students. Our STAR Expectation Matrix (S=Stay Safe   T=Team Work   A=Act Responsibly   R=Respect All) and our nine core values continue to provide a strong foundation for a positive, productive school climate. We focus on ways to support the educational, social, emotional, and physical growth of each of our students. Our doors open at 7:45 AM on school days with breakfast available for all students.  After school, families have the option of Boys & Girls Club at our site.

At Northview, we are looking forward to another fantastic year!  With ongoing initiatives and some changes in place, our goal will always be to better support our students and families.  We recognize that Excellence---the idea of every moment, every day being better than the moment or day before---Rocks. With school, families, and our community working together, we are creating the sounds of success in the lives of our students.  Thank you for your continued support.
