Manhattan-Ogden Public Schools utilize assessments for the purpose of providing students, parents, teachers, administrators and other stakeholder groups with information about the academic achievement of students enrolled in USD 383.

These results assist with: identification of instructional needs for students, information that can be used to target professional development areas, monitoring the effectiveness of school improvement strategies, and identification of curriculum areas that may need increased focus, clarification and review of curriculum resources.

The District Assessment Framework is a tool for consistent and useful data collection. This allows for a way to report student achievement in review of what students should know and be able to do at each grade level.
