The Mentor is a weekly newspaper, published each Friday that school is in session.

More than 2,100 copies are printed each week and distributed free of charge to all students and faculty members.

The Mentor is student-operated and MHS journalists are members of the Kansas Scholastic Press Association.

The Mentor is an open forum that accepts contributions from the public.
